Influence analysis of anti-spatter spray on welding process and weld properties

Abstract Based on the accumulation situation of anti-spatter spray in actual manufacturing, butt joints are implemented to analyze state changes two types and their effect arc stability, molten pool fluidity, weld performance. The results show that fluidity water-based is significantly better than oil-based welding process, resulting a large near suppression position. This causes strong fluctuations pool, while can reduce spreadability bevel. In terms performance, reduces plasticity weld, average elongation tensile specimens corresponding joint 37% lower without spray. rapid evaporation leads faster cooling narrow range hardened microstructure heat-affected zone. Therefore, an apparent increase microhardness at location.
